Izuna looked up from her position in the Battlefield, she sensed some high-level attacks and two spiritual pressures of shinigami and three arrancar, she hurried towards the fighting before bursting throught the wall without a care for it, the whole citadel was being destroyed what difference does another hole in it make. She looked over and saw the two shinigami, one she regonised the other was vaguely familiar, yet she couldn't guess who it was. She moved up behind Eliyah before casually listening the what was going one, there was something about why he shouldn't kill them and then they begged for mercy, or at least the middle one D'gerik he said his name was, was pleading for them all. The vice-captain grinned, how did she know it wasn't a plot to simply get free how did she know if he was truly speaking the truth. If Eliyah or Yumiko tried to deliver a strike Izuna would intervene and prevent it, she finally decided to make her statement on the matter although it was one that would appear quite surprising.

"Show some emotion Eliyah, I am sure the poor girls have dealt with enough, I have authority over you and dependant on the responses they will be prisoners of war, perhaps even able to join Graven should he want them however you will not harm them when they are like this." She would approach the one D'gerik called Tau, the lieutenant smiled in a kind yet seductive manner, having researched the intel they had on the furies she knew all but one was homosexual, she also knew that Tau was the weakest with her mental strength. She sat down next to the bound group before putting her arm around the fury in a kind fashion, "Is what he says true, dear?" although it would appear weird to some Shinigami, she would wait patiently for the answer, depending on what she said would determine what Izuna did.

The dark man was not as most thought he was upon meeting him, he wasn't arrogant and he wasn't an idiot. He was quite the manipulator and he realised he had best end this as soon as possible, she was weaker than him for the moment at least. He watched her, lady-like and had an air of unwillingness to get dirty. How disappointing as it was almost humorous that she thought he could fight her, if he felt anything other than the crushing despair he lived with daily, the memories which haunted his tormented mind. He looked at her when she used her zanpakuto, so soon it was used, she obviously wanted to end this quickly and find a new target. She changed, releasing her form and returning to the one she once held so long ago, she appeared like a pharaoh of Egypt, it didn't take long for him to understand that she obviously had something to do with the earth or sand, Egypt was sandy as was the ground they stood on it would make sense for the Egyptian Pharaoh before him to use it.

She seemed pleased, how it made him wonder what the last time he felt happiness and joy was, to long. He had long since forgotten her face, the face of the one he loved and it made him angry, pain turned to anger and anger turned to strength. He was on the weaker end now but he knew he must use his mind to find a way around this, he moved quickly leaping into the air and hovering over the battlefield, he refused to stay on the sand and let the Fury Leader hold any more advantages against him, if she wanted him she would have to come and get him, he held out his hand and decided to strike her with something with some bite to it. Charging the Cero Oscuros in his left hand while it was hidden from holding the sword, he used his right hand to fire a large but normal cero over the field, she had covered herself in mist and he didn't know where to aim to strike her down but he guessed to shoot where she was last, maybe she couldn't even see in the mist around her.

-Fifteen Minutes Previous-

The Squad Three barracks was active with chaos, the Squad had received a report about ten minutes ago that the lieutenant went to Hueco Mundo, alone and it was completely unknown why he would do so. After he failed to return the Squad had assembled a small force which included a few members of squad two. It didn't take very long and the small group consisting of two members of Squad Three and four members of Squad Two. The group arrived at the Senkaimon where about an hour ago Izuna had disappeared into. Using the previous coordinates they were able to open the Senkaimon exactly where Izuna had been standing.

Caught by surprise as they ran out was that the ground was missing and upon arrival they all fell into the void which previously Izuna created to get down to the lower world. They got up and the sound they heard first was one they didn't expect, it was a screaming sound like someone was being tortured. They ran to the sound and with much speed and luck they arrived to see an explosion of blood and gore as something exploded in the sky, however while the squad two members were looking at the explosion the squad three members found the Lieutenant as he finally fell down and collapsed. Without hesitation the group dashed through the hollows and grabbed the Lieutenant, he looked like his body was mortally wounded. He needed medical attention.

The group of six shinigami then fled and as the Squad Two shinigami created a protective zone, the squad three members opened a senkaimon and fled through with Squad two on their heels. Arriving back in a flash the group didn't stop running as they ran to Division Four's barracks and found the captain, leaving Izuna in their care the group disbanded leaving the two members of Squad Three to watch the lieutenant's recovery. The squad two members informed them of the fact they have other things to attend to and left. The group waited anxiously for Izuna to be finished with the Captain although it was strangely only fifteen minutes until she emerged.

When she emerged she was quite surprised and informed them that Izuna was physically fine, simply tired by the looks of it despite the Shinigami's description of mortally wounded although she wasn't going to let Izuna go for a few days to let him recover fully. Sending them on their way, although at the meantime Izuna found himself partly conscious. I did it. I defeated a Vasto-Lorde class Arrancar he thought as he was happy he was able to do something that the Gotei Thirteen advise only captains face Vasto-Lorde.

Strangely after everything happened Izuna's mind fell forward into the deep void of darkness it originally was, however this time he felt different. Almost empowered by what just happened in his mind, he felt like he was surrounded by water and as his resolve grew that he wouldn't die here so did his power in the world around him, eventually it reached a point when the darkness illuminated into a bright flash. Izuna didn't know when or why it happened, however when he came to his conscious state of mind he was in fact standing as Luke had done in the illusion dream or whatever it was to Izuna. The Arrancar was there still looking upon his now fearful band of monsters which saw what he had done, however a few started looking at it all in shock. With their gaze now focused on Izuna, the Arrancar turned to see what he had never expected. "What the Hell!" he roared, as Izuna appeared in front of him and brought a fist into his jaw, he was torn from the world around him and crashed into a tree.

"WHY WON'T YOU DIE!!!" he shouted before charging and firing a Cero from his broken jaw, Izuna felt different. He didn't feel like he was his normal self, he lacked the desire to talk and he felt no pain, no emotion, and the only thing he had in mind was the destruction of the scourge that was the Arrancar before him. When Izuna saw the cero approach he once more disappeared and caught the previously superior arrancar off guard. He brought a roundhouse kick into his target's stomach and heard the crunch or ribs. Quite pleased Izuna used Seipo once more to appear one hundred meters away and stared at his target.

Without mercy he clenched his fist and telekinetically grabbed his opponent in the vice-like grip, slowly tightening his own right hand he earned a shouting sound which at first protested however as he squeezed became more of a twisted scream as he was crushed under Izuna's will. He felt no mercy, nor did he care what he did; the Arrancar was evil and he would kill that evil. After a small moment he let his open and gave him some deep but short lived breathing as he began screaming again however this time, he screamed as Izuna compressed his body into itself, then his body couldn't contain it anymore. He imploded and ultimately covered the surrounding landscape in blood. Finally Izuna fell forward and collapsed on the ground.

Finally he felt upset, perhaps he had made an error in judgement coming to Hueco Mundo, he tried to look around the desolate world that he was in at the moment, it appeared nothing like Hueco Mundo. Strangely he felt another person approach and expected Sai to appear however that was not the case, instead he was looking at the legs of someone standing above him. Izuna heard the man say something but didn't hear it. Finally the man grabbed his shoulders and lifted him like a rag doll, he was then lowered onto his feet and it surprised him he didn't fall. He actually felt weightless at the moment, the man who he now noticed was his captain, Luke or the illusion of Luke smiled before adding to his previously unheard comment. "Come now Lieutenant, I don't want to replace you just yet" he said smiling and walked away, now he had a clear view of the remaining members of the group and he felt sadness well up inside him.

His brother. Kurochi stood in front of him in Luke's place and he grinned before poking him in the forehead, "Use that big head of yours... I can't believe you are actually being outsmarted by an idiot." he said to the shocked Izuna, Kurochi disappeared years ago and yet here he was acting as if it was all normal. Izuna watched as he disappeared with his trademark disappearing act, the final person truly shook Izuna's mind and core, Violet stood before him and he thought she was going to touch his chest however saw her stop short and picked up the Magatama necklace, it was originally only one however she gave him hers when he saved her for "safekeeping". From then he always wore it and she seemed to admire it. "How about you live long enough to give it back to me" she said with a smile and disappeared.

Izuna lay under the constantly constricting grasp of the Arrancar, his throat felt painful and he tried to at least rip it off but failed. Eventually he felt his lungs give away and finally ceased to breathe, above the corpse the Arrancar stood and laughed, he had finally ended the runt which caused him so much trouble. He stood up from kneeling over the dead lieutenant, and spat at Izuna's face. Nearby he noticed Hollows had gathered around him, his presence scared them he realised and laughed in a very cruel way, as if savoring the fear that the Hollows were feeling around him.

Despite Izuna seemingly dead his mind was not in fact reliant on the Reigai he inhabits, he in fact will not die until that Arrancar crushes or destroys his container. He however was still mentally exhausted, his mind was drifting although for some strange reason he found himself laying on an clear reflective surface, the world around him was a light shade of purple and he sensed people nearby but couldn't move to see them. His body felt immobile and made of lead, he then felt someone approach him and lent down to his height so he could see who they were,

The young man who stood before Izuna, was a child however he appeared quite happy and much to Izuna's surprise Sai leaned and patted his head. He did this once or twice before walking away and Izuna tried and attempted to worm his way over there by wriggling to still hold the boy that he raised from when he found him in the Rukongai, he however couldn't keep up at his current pace and Sai disappeared. He laid down and wondered what on Earth was going on, was he hallucinating while his body regenerated? or was he actually dead? Izuna didn't know what was going on.

As he hung limp in the Vasto-Lorde's grasp Izuna felt as if time had stopped. That single memory grew and seemed to consume his mind, it filled him with anger and rage. This memory festered in his mind, he saw the image of Takumi Atanasi standing above him, mocking him with his condescending tone. They were both so alike, Arrogant and believing themselves better than everything around them. It filled him with rage and that rage became power, he seemed to emerge in the present and without even a second thought he let out a burst of telekinetic energy, the Vasto-Lorde was smashed into the tree and looked surprised as Izuna appeared in front of him and grabbed his mask. It was meant to destroy him however Izuna's judgement had error and the mask was ripped clean off and then the hollow fell on the ground.

It seemed all over, Izuna felt weak and turned to leave. He got about ten metres before he realised the body hadn't disappeared. He turned and felt a leg connect with his jaw as he landed a few feet away. "Thanks for that kid." he said smugly and Izuna turned and saw the hollow had become an arrancar, he grinned and smiled at the shocked shape of Izuna. "Why do you look so shocked? Is it because you've effectively doubled my power?" He said before firing a bala which shot Izuna straight through the shoulder. It didn't even register but he watched the arrancar appear next to him and grab his throat before smashing him into the ground clearly intent on still killing him but a new method which he chose was by chocking the teenage lieutenant. Izuna simply couldn't believe this was happening, he was so close to winning yet now before him stood a being of much more power. "Prepare to die." he said as he tightened his grip.

Izuna played unconscious for another period of time which he counted to be around ten minutes, eventually they put his limp body down. He knew by the sound of the Vasto-Lorde talking with his subordinates. Izuna didn't waste this opportunity and in one movement he flipped onto his feet and took off with his Seipo, he appeared on the branch above the group and the Vasto-Lorde roared in fury, he was loosing his patience with this slimy shinigami which seemed able to escape his very hold. He used his speed to appear next to Izuna and grabbed his neck, and growled. "You're more trouble than you're worth! You bug, I will kill you here and then let the hollows eat whatever is leftover." He roared once more before throwing the young adolescent into a nearby tree.

He didn't care any more for the fighting or training, he ran again until he felt pain all through his head, he had used Seipo to much and he wasn't there yet. The Hollow took a single bound and forced him into the ground, with his hand around his throat Izuna really couldn't do anything to resist although the Alpha had gone wild, he chucked the now limp Izuna into the air above him before firing a cero which smashed Izuna into the roof of the Menos Forest. "Well Shinigami, where is all that power now? You are but a worm to me you weak brat!" he roared before catching the painfully beaten Izuna in his hand. He was barely conscious now and the pain was incredible. Is this really where it ends? Izuna thought Does my life really end here, in this world where the sun doesn't shine and at the hands of this cruel animal? He thought and at that moment he felt a familiar memory resurface.

The hollow pack looked angry now, having lost three members in a single surprise strike Izuna knew he would suffer and he was right. Appearing behind him once more and although he tried to block it he was grabbed and thrown in the air and instead of being beaten he was shot with three simultaneous ceros fired from the three remaining Hollows. The attack left him falling into the sand, he felt the bones in his artificial body broke under the pressure, he wondered what he could do now. He had the hollow's surrounding him and it would be a white for his body to recover from this, he had no choice but to feign unconsciousness. The stupid hollows gathered around the "unconscious" body of the Lieutenant and the two adjuchas looked up to the alpha as if asking him what was going to happen the the Shinigami.

"Take him to the Lady, she can do what she wants with him." he said angrily. No one had ever caused so much mayhem to his pack and it irritated him greatly. The two adjuchas did as he commanded and one slid him onto the other's back, after their success at getting him ready the group would begin wandering back to where they came from, leaving distinct markings of where they have traveled. Izuna also took note of where he was, memorising the area he was travelling and the change in direction but finally they stopped and Izuna wondered if they had arrived, he would stir a bit and fall off the back of the wolf which made him call out for them to stop. The Alpha walked up and then picked up his fallen and limp body, "Little Runt, Let's see how long you last. I believe the other's lasted no more than an hour." he said as if talking to the unconscious body. Soon Izuna would need to strike.

Izuna stood motionless as he waited for his attackers to once again try to attack him, it was quick he will admit especially when suddenly the Vasto-Lorde appeared right behind him and threw him up in the air where the Gillian watched blankly. The hollow which he had named Leo had roared in pleasure as the Alpha appeared behind him again and again until he held Izuna's body which had became quite limp, there was damage all over his body and he felt immense pain. The alpha grinned as he held the young soul by the collar of his Shihakusho, "Quite sad Shinigami. I mean seriously! You are a Lieutenant and yet you are weak and so young, the Lady will love this prize that we give her." he roared to his companions and when Izuna looked down he saw the Wolf smiling back up at him. High-speed Regeneration obviously.

He felt annoyed, angry and why did it remind him so much of Takumi, the condescending tone and the constant opinion he was better, superior. Izuna turned and gripped the Alpha's mask before kicking him in the chest and releasing a wave of kinetic force through his telekinesis. He went flying through the air before hitting the ground with a thud, he lifted himself up and saw the Alpha was gripping his chest in pain, it would pass that Izuna knew. He was a Hollow and as such it would heal but he took the cahnce and with his superior speed and pre-prepared plan he activated his hidden trap. From the sand emerged four daggers which targeted the Three Gillian and Leo. Taken by surprise the three Gillian had their masks pierced and fell down before dissipating into nothing. Leo however reacted and just dodged it although sustained a wound to his shoulder, the daggers would then float around Izuna like bees ready to sting and kill whatever the leader wanted. This fight was yet to be finished.

Immediately after the two adjuchas attacked on the Alpha's command he was forced to move away and in doing so got himself on the side of the Wolf-headed Adjuchas. Without a second though he grabbed his large sword and in one swift motion removed it from his back and brought it down to meet the hollow's back. It met and went cleanly through the wolf leaving him without hind legs and the beast hit the ground with a thud, completely immobile.

Izuna was going to let up however, he turned and met the lion hollow and attempted to destroy him with his blade in a follow up swing. It was perfect, down to the very calculation. Izuna had worked out the exact path he would need it to take and applied it however it was so unexpected that his calculations were off by an unknown variable. He felt the Vasto-Lorde's hand grab the blade and rip it out of his hand with enough force to make it land a few meters away. "That's a cute sword you have their Shinigami. I hope you can do without it for now. After all we want to play with you and give whatever is left to the mistress." He said grinning, as he then kicked Izuna into a nearby tree.

The Gillian watched stationary and waited for their commands from the Alpha Hollow, Izuna felt the need to flee but he wouldn't get far, it was clear that the leader was fast and could outrun him. Using this time Izuna let the Homing Dagger fall into the ground and telekinetically buried them while the Hollows were focused on him, he then grabbed the tree and flipped down where he faced the group, he was injured but it would pass and he knew that it would take brains as well as brawn to beat the group before him but he also wondered who their "mistress" was. Only time would tell and he didn't really want to meet her.
