As the Garganta closed behind him, Ase found himself standing on what appeared to be an abandoned factory building just outside of Beijing. It was midday, and there was a slight breeze in the winds. Must've been what the humans called "Spring". "It has been awhile since I've had a decent meal, it wouldn't hurt to get a quick bite." He knew it's always dangerous travelling to the world of the living, but survival is survival, and Hollow souls were getting to be quite bland.

Ase moved to the corner of the building. As he glanced over the scene, he saw a couple buildings clumped together about a half mile to the East. He closed his eyes to concentrate, and used his Pesquisa to see if the area was clear. He hoped to be in and out, not wanting to cause attention.

Kuma found himself on patrol near a factory in Beijing, it appeared abandoned but he was positive that he had felt something nearby. There was a slight breeze in the wind as he looked around, and given the weather forecast it appeared that it was Spring time in China. Out of corner of his eye, Kuma caught a glance of the Hollow atop a building and figured that the factory he was scouting from would make a better battlefield than the city below them. It was with this in mind that he lurched into action almost immediately, releasing into Shikai and lurching forwards with all of his might, Kuma appeared from above with his twin daggers in hand, swinging downwards towards the Hollow beneath him. He hoped to send him scurrying downwards into the factory, where they could have a proper face-to-face meeting and eventual battle.

For now Kuma allowed for smoke to envelop his being as he descended on the Hollow, wherever he had went after-all Kuma was sure to follow. This was after-all his job, his responsibility and his debt to the world. This was what he had trained for. "Come on out Hollow, don't keep me waiting.."

It seems attention came faster than he anticipated, as he sensed a presence above him. The presence was a strong one, possibly stronger than he. He would need to devise a plan of escape should need be.

Using his sonido, he moved backwards, more towards the center of the roof of the building, and upon seeing the assailant Ase raises one finger and fires a cero immediately where he was standing. Right after it leaves his finger, he takes his defensive stance, with his hands up in a martial arts type of stance. "Well, that's not very nice..and who might you be?" Ase questions, as he prepares for a counter attack.

ABILITIES USED:
Ability Name: Cero
Ability Description: Ase's Cero travels faster than the normal Cero (1 beam, Cero damage, Bala speed, 2 post cooldown.)

For some reason the Hollow anticipated being uninterrupted, and as foolish a thought as it was he still wasn't foolish enough to let Kuma cut his head off with the opening strike. The Hollow used Sonido and moved back, more towards the center of the roof of the building. Once the Hollow laid eyes on Kuma, it fired a super fast Cero and Kuma was immediately caught off guard by how fast the attack was. Even whilst Shunpoing to the side his ribs were grazed, bruising and burning them slightly he looked down to see that half his garb had been completely blown off with the attack. Kuma gritted his teeth and Shunpo'd in front of the Hollow, looking at him with a wild and sinister look in his eyes. "I am Sumoki Kuma, Vice Captain of squad nine and I really really need you to die quick so I can go get a nap in before training tonight alright?.. Great."

Kuma formed a ball of smoke in his hand and threw it down, letting the nearby area of about 300 feet be enveloped in smoke. Kuma would use Shunpo to appear behind the Hollow, throwing a downwards diagonal slash at it's chest before following that up with an upwards stab at his head. Once this combo was done, Kuma would use Shunpo to slink back into the smoke. He didn't want to get cocky, and he really didn't want to lose.

The slash came very quick, too quick for him to dodge fully, and he was slashed across his back, tearing his robe. He rolled forward just in time to barely move out of the way of what would've been a fatal stab to his head. The smoke made it hard to see anything clearly, and Ase knew he had to move out of it, or be at his assailants mercy. As he rolled forward, he dashed to the right, and found the edge of the building.

As he reached it, he used his "Mina Explosiva" in a half circle in front of him, his back to the cliffs edge, and got to one knee. The cut was not significantly deep, but it did do damage. He couldn't take too many of those. If his opponent were to enter, he'd more than likely trigger one of his mines, and Ase would quickly followup the explosion with a kick of his own, using the explosions surprise to try to catch him off guard. "You're quick, let me see if I can help you get that much needed nap of yours.."

Ability Name: Mina Explosiva
Ability Description: Ase can also shoot a "mine" type bala, which is not visible with the naked eye, however can be spiritually sensed. These mines can be triggered by either walking upon them, or by Ase thinking or saying "Encender". Their power is equal to that of a typical bala, and he can places as many as 5 at once around him. (Bala Damage per mine, 1 post cooldown)

It seemed that Kuma was coming closer and closer to hitting his mark with every swing of his blade, and this Hollow appeared fairly keen on the idea of getting right the fuck out of the way no matter Kuma would try. Kuma got a bit ahead of himself, allowing himself to almost fall into a trap. He sensed the mine just in the nick of time and pulled up, but was still blown back a bit by the explosion though he largely avoided any serious damage. Kuma threw down another smoke bomb, and allowed the smoke which had previously dissipated to form right back from behind the man, Kuma's goal was to trap him and kill him here if at all possible. If the man was caught in the smoke even for an instant this time, Kuma was going to ignite it with burning ash and singe the Hollow as best he could.

He just hoped that his plan could work..
