THE HOLLOW APPLICATION

Personality: Marrow shares a common goal with other hollows: the relentless pursuit of strength. While many seek to achieve this by consuming the souls of humans and shinigami, Marrow's palate differs. He finds little satisfaction in their essence and instead favors cannibalizing fellow hollows, a practice he has discovered greatly enhances his own power. His preferred method involves operating as an ambush predator, leveraging his role as a guardian to spiritually attuned humans to draw in others of his kind.

Among humans, Marrow identifies children as the most conducive to his purposes. They prove most receptive to his guidance and least likely to pose a threat to him. Accordingly, Marrow refines his appearance, deliberately adopting a form that is endearing and non-threatening. Through careful manipulation of his mass, spiritual energy, and speech patterns, he presents himself as harmless and approachable. Marrow's ultimate aim is to cultivate trust with his charges to such an extent that his true form, when eventually revealed in defense of the human, will not instill fear or drive them away.



CHARACTER APPEARANCE

Physical Traits: Marrow is a diminutive creature reminiscent of a dinosaur, characterized by its light brown hide with a cream-colored underbelly. Its hands feature two small claws each, functioning as thumbs, while its feet boast longer nails resembling toes. Along its back runs a row of bony spikes, emanating directly from the spine and culminating in a larger spike at the tip of its tail. Emphasizing its hollow aspect, Marrow sports a skull-like mask adorning its face, with bony protrusions in place of ears. These protuberances double as handles, enabling Marrow to pull on them and summon its distinctive club weapon.

History: Marrow finds himself uncertain of the duration of his existence as a hollow. However, one certainty is his distinct lack of interest in human souls, preferring instead the essence of his own kind. Recognizing this peculiarity, he swiftly leverages it to his advantage, opting to prey upon his favored quarry. Assuming the role of a spiritual mentor, guardian, and nurturer, Marrow actively safeguards spiritually attuned humans, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship. His presence catalyzes the spiritual growth of these individuals, rendering them enticing prey for other hollow entities. As Marrow consumes more of his kind, he gains strength, thereby augmenting the human's spiritual fortitude. This symbiotic cycle continues until the human's demise or until Marrow's protective abilities falter. Remarkably, Marrow's tenure as a guardian extends to multiple generations within a single family up until very recently. Now, the creature is on the lookout for a new symbiosis partner.

THE COMBAT INFORMATION

General Fighting Style: In combat, Marrow's approach revolves around adaptation and enhancement. Much like bones strengthen under pressure, Marrow employs a similar principle to bolster his combat effectiveness. Utilizing his mask, he crafts a club, then deliberately subjects it to stress during battle. Through this method, the weapon gradually fortifies, becoming increasingly robust and durable. The longer he fights, the stronger he gets as a result. Marrow persists until he can overwhelm his adversaries through sheer force, leveraging the strengthened club as a testament to his strategic prowess.

Ability Name: Minimización [Minimization]
Ability Description: Acting as a guardian for spiritually aware humans, especially that of children, Marrow has developed the ability to appear less threatening to them. Doing so decreases his size to that of a small and cuter version of his normally monstrous self. This additionally helps conceal his spiritual pressure, preventing other Hollow or Shinigami to find him. Once combat begins, however, this effect immediately deactivates and restores him to his normal state.



HOLLOW ABILITIES
Average Hollow Abilities: Cero, Bala, Sonido, Pesquisa
Gillian Appearance: Only through deactivating his Minimización does Marrow reveal his true appearance.  Remaining as a bipedal dinosaur-like creature, he immediately grows to 7 feet in height as various bones grow across his form almost as if he was wearing plate armor as his mask wings up to a more distinct raptor-like shape. His bone weapon is now completely adaptive and most often takes the form of a club, axe, sword, or spear.



Gillian Abilities: Marrow’s abilities focus on becoming stronger the longer he engages in combat. The more stress his bone constructs face in battle, the more durable and resilient they become.

Ability Name: Osteogénesis [Bone Growth]
Ability Description: Marrow’s basic application of his hollow abilities is to manipulate the bones on his body, including his mask. Any exterior bone on his body is something he can freely shape to his will. This most typically is used to grow a club from his mask but also can be used on the spikes along his spine and tail or his claws on his hands and feet.

Ability Name: Osteocrecimiento [Bone Upgrowth]
Ability Description: The more stress his bones undergo, the stronger they become as a result. A form of evolution and high-speed regeneration, Marrow’s bones learn to adapt to whatever they face. A defense he can’t scratch eventually becomes one he easily can bust through, a fire that scorches all it touches eventually unable to burn anything, and sword clashes that chip bone eventually begins to chip the sword instead. The longer Marrow is able to fight against something, the better he can face it in the future. After his bones make contact with an opponent's attack, they begin to harden and increase their overall durability. This gradually increases to an additional x1 bonus after three posts. Once reaching this bonus, this effect remains in effect until the end of the thread.

Ability Name: Osteocorrer [Bone Rush]
Ability Description: With a surge of Reiryoku, Marrow's speed increases as he releases a volley of heavy hitting blows in rapid succession against his opposition. This inflicts a combination of double cero damage. Afterwards, it goes on a two post cooldown.
