Personality: A loving, caring person, Kitsune always pays attention to the little things in life. She has a great sense of humor, although at times it can be completely unappreciated and quite perverse. At first glance she may come across as belligerent and loud, but eventually Kitsune grows on everyone around her. While seeming to be ditzy and happy-go-lucky, she is a very experienced fighter, and has earned her rank ten times over. While around the other Vice Captains, she strives to be as friendly and upbeat as she can while still maintaining her authority. She has refused to take the Captain’s Exam, as she chooses to remain as a Vice Captain until her death.
In combat, Kitsune’s loud, humorous nature disappears entirely and is replaced with a cool, level-headed persona.  Her twin Zanpakuto are constantly moving, a steel blur occasionally splashed with red as she tears into her enemies. Kitsune prefers to hold off on using her Shikai until she has to, and will only use Bankai as a last resort. When she is pushed to those limits, however, she won’t hesitate to unleash the flames of her Zanpakuto upon her foes.
Kitsune’s Zanpakuto, Hiyake Shojo, is one of the most powerful fire-type Zanpakuto in existence. Upon activation, her Squad 1 Haori starts to smolder, and will slowly burn away from the hem up. The twin wakizashi that make up its sealed form split, molding themselves into a pair of black gauntlets with claws protruding from the back of the hand.

Flames form around the claws, extending three feet by default, but she may lengthen or shorten them at will, out to a maximum length of 15 meters. Hiyake Shojo burns at a temperature of three thousand degrees Fahrenheit, giving it the ability to cut through most materials. Kitsune herself is immune to the fire started by her Zanpakuto, and may grant this immunity on others by touching them with the pommel of its sealed form, causing an invisible scar to form in that location. This scar will ignite upon Hiyake Shojo’s activation, taking the form of the Kanji for Fire ㈫.
Kitsune’s Bankai, Asahi Taka, is extremely destructive, so she will only use it as a last resort.  The flames started by Hiyake Shojo intensify and spread, growing into a massive phoenix upon release. Asahi Taka burns at approximately 1.5 million degrees Fahrenheit, and is controlled by Kitsune via a “lifeline” of magma connected to her heart, sprouting from between her shoulder blades and stretching to the tip of the phoenix’s tail. Any allies that are marked with the invisible scar are blasted away, and cannot come within a 50 meter radius of Kitsune. Unmarked allies and enemies will start to feel as if they are dripping sweat. This sweat is their condensed reiatsu evaporating from the heat, and their AR will lower by 1 for every 5 posts that they are within a 50 meter radius of Asahi Taka.


Intended Role: This character is meant to be the former Lieutenant/Vice Captain of Squad 1. She (supposedly) died in childbirth, and is Okami Shiba’s mother in his history section. If you want to use her for RP purposes, history, or anything like that, I have no issue with it. Just keep in mind that you have to come up with how she survived, and come up with some cool powers!  Kitsune is meant to be Tier 2-3.
