Humming to himself, Alabaster skipped through the halls of Las Noches, exploring and wandering about. The over-sized sleeves of his outfit fluttered behind him as Alabaster sated his own curiosity. Well, that was only part of it. Truth was, Alabaster was REALLY hungry. Sure, he could feed on weak-trash Hollows that wandered around in the White Desert, their blood running down his chin and splattering on the white sands below. However, Alabaster's childish nature caused him to crave something sweet. His lips curled into a slight pout as he jumped over a wall, landing atop it to survey the area. "Grr... There's no sweets!" Alabaster angrily exclaimed, his normally inexpressive facial features curled into the petulant temper-tantrums of a kid. Just then, Alabaster sniffed the air. Then, as he looked down, he saw it: a garden. Not just any garden either, one full of fruits! Delicious, juicy, SWEET fruits! Wasting no time, he jumped down into the garden and plucked an apple before beginning to chow down on it. "Mmmmm~!"

Selica would find herself walking through her very own gardens of Las Noches again attempting to avoid the idea of interacting with others. She could be found sitting on her knees caressing the petals of a brilliant black rose. From her, the sound of humming could be heard. It was a sound that was pleasant, calm, and prideful. This particular rose she didn't much care for, however it was one of hers and she was simply forced to nurture it. It was dark, it was mysterious, and it always had at least one small spider on it. The day this rose wilted it would be by Selica's hand alone.

As she contemplated her idea of the black rose, Selica would feel a disturbance on the outskirts of her garden. A fruit had been severed from one of her many trees and it had felt as if it had been plucked. Someone was in her garden, but everyone in Las Noches knew better than to touch her babies. Immediately, she would rise from the rose bush in the center of the garden and Sonido directly to where her apple trees were. As she arrived, Selica would find herself staring at someone small. Someone she hadn't seen before.

Selica would stare at him for quite some time before she would tilt her head with a perplexed expression. "Wait a minute. You're just a kid. What are you doing here? Don't you have parents somewhere," Selica would bend down until she was about the same level as him as she would notice the joy on his face. "You like my fruits, yes?"

Squatting down to be at eye-level with Alabaster, Selica could see the rings of fruit juice and fruit bits around his mouth as he chomped away, holding the fruit in question with his over-sized sleeves. His wide eyes would gaze into Selica's own, unblinking for a moment as he just ate silently. His mask was like a spiky crown atop his head, a part of it curling over his nose with more spikes jutting from the white, bony starfish mask on top of his head. Once Alabaster was finally done, his mouth covered in evidence of his feast, he blinked.

"Pa...rents?" Alabaster appeared perplexed for a moment before speaking up again, holding up the remains of the fruit. "Can I have another one, lady? Your fruits are really tasty." Alabaster's expression didn't appear to shift very much as he spoke, however; there was a definite excited twinkle in his gaze as he looked up Selica. His expression was full of excited anticipation, the kind that kids get when you tell them maybe and they aren't cynical enough to understand that generally means 'No, now shut up.'

So, it seemed he didn't understand the word parents, which made Selica wonder just where the hell this child came from. He was quite adorable, though, so it wasn't as if Selica could just leave him on his own. He would ask for another fruit as he would look at her with an excited expression. So, he admired the fruits she had grown and acknowledged them as tasty. Selica would smile as she would hold out her hand catching an apple that she had forced to remove itself from the branches. She would extend the fruit towards the young child to take from her gentle grip. She had to admit, much like Willow, she wouldn't mind this one visiting her gardens. He reapected the growth and the nutrients it brought about, which made Selica feel appreciated. Children were so sweet.

"Well, I suppose if you don't have parents, then how did you get here? Where did you come from?" Selica would find herself kneeling on the ground as she would sit comfortably on her legs underneath her. Her hands would lay flat on her thighs as she would watch the child before her eat away at the apple she had given him. He looked as if he were wearing a little crown, like a prince. Where did he belong? It troubled the arrancar.

Alabaster immediately got to work with the second fruit, taking it when the woman offered it to him and beginning to munch on it. "I came from outside." Alabaster replied nonchalantly in his usual neutral tone, apple juice dribbling down his chin a little as he reveled in the sweetness of the plump, ripe, delicious fruit. Pausing for a moment and looking at Selica as if suddenly remembering she was, in fact, still there (he was just that engrosses in the apple), Alabaster looked at her with a furrowed brow. "Where did you come from, then? Did you come from outside too?" Alabaster then took another bite of the apple, chewing it happily and smiling while letting out a little 'Mmmmm Mmm!'

He came from outside? Right, Selica had no idea what he was talking about or what he meant by outside, however she wasn't about to try to find out. She didn't necessarily care about that now as she just wanted to know why it was that he was here. Although, he would ask her a question about where she came from, which would leave her rather perplexed. She had no idea where it was she came from, but she knew that she had ended up here. She knew that she must have had a human life or maybe even a shingami life as much as she hated to admit it. Nonetheless, she didn't know what that life could have been considering she couldn't remember it. Selica would shake her head slightly before speaking, "Well, I suppose I came from the sand. Probably like a desert plant." That was the best response she could give him as of now. "So, if you came from outside, did someone bring you here? Why did they bring you here?" Maybe, she could get some kind of decent information that wasn't too highly vague.

"From the desert? But there aren't any pretty flowers in the desert... Are there?" Alabaster looked up at Selica questioningly, his head tilted in confusion with bits of apple all over his lips from how he had been ravenously devouring the thing moments before. As she asked her next question, Alabaster seemed to pause for a moment and think very heard on what she was asking. "Hmmmmmm... No, I wasn't brought here by anyone." Alabaster took one last bite of the apple, polishing it off with a satisfied smile. "I saw the castle, and it looked interesting, so I decided to explore!" Alabaster beamed proudly at this, thumping his chest with a smug smile on his lips.
