Morgoth has a single, not dysfunctional relationship with another person, and that should tell a little something about him. He's not the guy you want to make friends with - in fact, even the psychopaths under Dante's reign are disgusted by his lack of humanity. And he's exactly not looking for a friend either. However, that can change.

Right now, his only real friend is Annora. The girl, who understands him in a way no one else seems to. The girl, who brings out the bits of humanity out of him. The girl, that he is so desperate to protect from harm. However, their sweet friendship is complicated by the curse of knowledge, that being the identity of princess's real father.

Yeah, I thought not. A soulless, undesirable person as he is, with no conscience or empathy, has a certain taste of... unfriendliness to his personality. This has led him to a state of one friend, a few allies and hundreds and hundreds of enemies, lurking in the shadows and waiting for his moment of weakness. Don't be surprised if you find yourself here - the 99.9% of all people end up here. The espada, Graven, all of Dante's enemies and even most of his own subordinates are categorized here.

Don't let his innocent, effeminate appearance trick you. Eliyah Hitohana is a wolf in a sheep's clothing, and among the more ruthless individuals of Gotei 13, who serve only their personal interests. He died in 1945, in the atom bombing of Hiroshima, but hold onto his memories after death, due to being a part of a "psychic cluster" along with his four friends. He's an adopted noble and the head of zanpakuto research bureau in Division 12.

Eliyah was never the most sociable nor the friendliest person, and thus, found making friends a little hard. However, his three of the four friends, that transcended death together, count as his closest friends. Raian is certainly his best friend, having known him for his whole life, and Katagiri another trusted individual, while his complicated relationship with Mei is further studied in the loveships section.

He is, however, good at making allies with useful and powerful people. While it's really impossible for one to become a friend of his - you know, since others do not have the capability to literally get inside his mind - it's very possible for him to become a trusted ally of yours. He values alliance to a great degree, at least as long as he somehow benefits from it, and he's very dedicated to it, once one is established.

Uh, really, Ayame is his only enemy. The fifth member of the "psychic cluster" and Mei's best friend, she totally despises men, Eliyah in particular, due to having caused so much grief to Mei. And why she's the only one? He has a habit of completely crushing his enemies once they declare their hatred and then cover it up as an accident - in other words, he eliminates them as soon as he makes an enemy. Eliminating Ayame, however, would break Mei's heart, and as much as he would want to kill the bitch off, he wouldn't want to hurt Mei anymore than he already has. Welcome to this category - but be sure you can handle it.
