Smoke. God damned SMOKE.

Right when Jun leapt in to punch Kuma, possibly multiple times, the smoke bomb detonated and covered the man. As much as he tried to plow through and stick his hits, he could only land one good punch to Kuma's face before being forced to back off. Perhaps it was the fact that his lungs were diseased from what seemed to be malignant tumours. Maybe it was the fact that he was dying without being ABLE to die. Or, maybe, just maybe...

It was as if his entire body was dying because of the smoke killing off what was basically his battery packs.

"Fucking smoke." The quiet curse was the only thing Kuma would have heard before Jun held his hand up towards the general area of where he could try to pinpoint Kuma, firing off the same Hadou that the man fired at Jun. "Byakurai."

Kuma ate the punch to the face but was content to see the smoke had accomplished what he had hoped it would. He smirked, spitting out blood as he began to slowly but surely pry himself away from the Bakudo the man had cast. He began to stumble away, directly into the Hadou four that Jun launched into the smoke, pain shot through his shoulder as a crimson stain formed in his attire. He instinctively launched a hand towards the wound and continued to look around, surveying the area as best he could. Kuma took this as his opportunity, launching the smoke in Jun's direction once more before jumping above it with his fingers forming a circle over his lips. Once he had a read on the Bug mans position he would fire a billowing ball of smoke and ash that would ignite on impact, hopefully singing bug boy as best he could manage.

Kuma kept a thin layer of smoke near-by, hoping that it would serve as enough cover for him to continue giving the bug man problems going forwards.

When the smoke began to race towards him, Jun flashstepped back before holding up his zanpakutou. His immediate reaction was to begin releasing his zanpakutou, to end this fast, but he remembered that this was just a spar. A little duel for them.

No need to make this more of a pain.

"Hadou one, Sho." He aimed the orb of kinetic energy at the ground, launching himself backwards as the ball of smoke ignited against the ground where his body was. Then, he would hold his hand up, the rancid skin beneath his linens becoming more revealed from the smoke missing him, but the heat of their battle wearing on his second layer of skin. He felt his skin rip open once again, summoning a horde of wasps once more to target the man before firing another Byakurai.

Jun flash-stepped backwards, holding his Zanpakuto closely as the smoke began to billow in his general direction. It seemed he was pondering just what kind of action to advance with and it was at this point that Kuma figured he would already start planning his own counter.

Curiously, bug boy didn't decide to release and instead opted to emergency evacuate himself with a Hadou one. It was a strong strategy, or at least it would be if Kuma wasn't in direct control of the smoke, but Kuma was willing to pretend to give him this small victory in the short-term for better long term gains. The smoke billowed out to the sides, leaving ashes and embers beneath it. He let them blow away in the wind, scattering before he quickly decided to condense it once more from all directions, specifically forming a wall behind Jun as the rest began to ignite in front of him. Kuma allowed for the smoke in front of Jun to hide his movements as he narrowly dodged the second Byakurai. The cloud in front of Jun ignited just a millisecond before the cloud behind him, and as he was pushed backwards Kuma quickly sought to condense the two so that he could use the smoke for cover.

As Kuma tried to be stealthy, he felt the corpses of wasps beneath his feet, smashing and being trod on like grapes. One of the bastards even bit his neck before keeling over, prompting Kuma to blurt out in pain as he quickly raised a healing Kidou to his wound. "What the fuck are you.."
